What is a Class II recall?

FDA classifies a Class II recall as one where the product is temporary or reversible harm; serious harm is unlikely (FDA's definition). Class I is the most serious, Class III the least. The class reflects FDA's risk assessment of the defect, not whether your specific lot is involved — always match your lot number to the record.
